Every new account gets a 25-scan starter burst. Inspect a shelf result before choosing a paid plan.
Take a photo of one shelf and Visual Inventory returns an editable draft of possible items and details. Nothing enters inventory until you review the draft and choose Add; inspect names, quantities, brands, and dates because confidence is a model signal, not a measured accuracy guarantee.
Current photo and receipt capture originals are processed transiently and are not copied into our file storage on any plan. We do not sell your data or use your photos to train models; see the Privacy page for AI-provider processing and retention details.
Every new account gets a 25-scan starter burst with no credit card required. After the starter burst, the Free plan includes 5 scans per month.
Paper is great for a quick list. Visual Inventory adds a shared, searchable record, can surface expiration dates you have confirmed, and can suggest meals from the inventory you have saved.
Yes. The useful difference is having a reviewed household record available away from the shelf, including confirmed quantities, dates, and recent item activity. It is only as current as the changes your household saves.
It offers four everyday input paths—photo, voice, receipt, and barcode—plus an experimental live-capture path. Recipe and pantry insights use confirmed inventory, while reorder evidence appears only when enough recorded history supports it.
There is no required rescan schedule. Between photos, you can deliberately update the ledger with voice, reviewed receipts, barcodes, or manual edits. The inventory does not update itself and stays trustworthy only when saved changes are reviewed.
Confidence helps prioritize review but is not a measured accuracy score. Confirm flagged candidates and inspect saved names, quantities, and dates before relying on them.
Clear sightlines and shelf-by-shelf photos make review easier, but performance across real household conditions is not yet broadly measured: 1 of 12 planned shelf fixtures is annotated and quantity accuracy is still unmeasured. Expect to review and correct the draft.
If your spreadsheet works, keep it. Visual Inventory can reduce typing with photo drafts, voice, receipts, and barcodes, then share the saved ledger with your household when connected. It still depends on human review and regular updates.
Personal and Family plans do not impose an item-count limit. Large collections still need multiple shelf photos and careful review; we do not publish a guaranteed processing time or large-pantry accuracy figure.
Yes. Household owners can open billing settings to upgrade or downgrade. Upgrades are prorated, while downgrades take effect at the next billing date.
AI capture pauses until the allowance resets—daily for paid plans and monthly for Free. Saved inventory, shopping lists, manual entry, and other non-capture features remain available.
Existing inventory records remain under the normal account and retention rules. If the household is over a lower plan limit, new additions may be blocked until it is within that limit.
We offer a full refund within 30 days of a first paid subscription. After that period, cancellation leaves access active through the current billing period and partial-period refunds are not offered. Contact support@visualinventory.ai for help.
Stripe processes major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Visual Inventory does not store full card details.
